2018 TAX BILLS
Tax bills are expected to go out in the mail by Friday, August 3, 2018. The due date for the 3rd Quarter 2018 is August 1, 2018 however since the bills are just now being mailed the grace period will be extended until Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Please be aware that this is an extension of the grace period and any payments received after September 5, 2018 will be subject to interest dating back to the August 1, 2018 due date for the 3rd quarter.
The Tax Collector's hours will be adjusted during this perior see caldendar below for additional office hour times.

Office hours: Every Wednesday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
During each tax Quarter - 1st day of the month in February, May, August and November 9 am - 4 pm and the 2nd thought 10th day of each of these months from 9 am to 12 noon
Tax payments can be made in the tax office during the hours listed above, by using the drop box outside the municipal building at all other times or online. In the event you need a receipt or amount due please be sure to come during the hours listed above. Please be advised that deposits made in the drop box after 3 p.m. will be posted to the next business day.
TAX PAYMENTS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED ONLINE OR BY ACH AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL. SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION AND CLICK THE LINK BELOW FOR MAKING ONLINE PAYMENTS. FEES WILL APPLY AS FOLLOWS:
If you pay by ACH or e-check, there is a $1.05 convenience fee.
If you pay by Visa personal debit card, there is a $3.95 convenience fee.
The fee for all other debit and credit card payments will be
approximately 2.95% of your total bill.

ACH check withdrawal can be set up by completing the attached form below and returning to the Tax Collector. There is no fee associated with this option.

The property assessment cards are informational in nature and should not be used for income tax purposes. The annual tax bill is for billing purposes and is the accurate accounting of the amount of taxes paid on a property during the year.

TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE CHANGE
Trash normally scheduled to be collected on Friday, November 16, 2018 will be collected on Saturday, November 17, 2018 due to the inclement weather on Thursday.

Gilbert Road is scheduled to begin on or about September 25, 2018
Jacksonville-Smithville Rd. and Oxmead Rd. are scheduled to begin on or about October 22, 2018. (BOTH JACKSONVILLE-SMITHVILLE AND OXMEAD ROADS WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2018)
There will be road closures and detours during contruction so please seek alternate routes.
