DOG LICENSE INFORMATION
Dog license renewal applications will be mailed out at the end of December. Licensing for 2017 will begin on Tueday, Januuary 3rd. Any license not renewed by January 31st will be subject to a $5 per month late fee. You must have a current rabies certificate that does not expire prior to November of 2017 in order to license a dog.

RECYCLING AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IS NOW SINGLE SOURCE. ALL BOTTLES, CANS, PAPER AND CARDBOARD SHOULD NOW BE DEPOSITED INTO THE THREE DUMBSTERS IN THE REAR OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. THERE IS NO LONGER A SEPARATE RECYCLING AREA FOR BOTTLES AND CAN. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE RECYCLING OF ANY KIND IN ANY AREA OTHER THAN IN THE DUMSTERS.
Please be advised that brush and leaves can not be picked up by the trash contractor as part of normal trash collection and it is the resident's responsibility to dispose of such items. Brush with all leaves removed can be brought to the Resource Recovery Complex (609-499-1001) for a cost of $25 per ton for Springfield Township residents. Leaves are not accepted at this facility.
Herman's Trucking (609-758-3808) in North Hanover is an approved compost facility and will take leaves for a charge of $15 per ton.
