Update on Redevelopment Study, April 25, 2018:
Township Council has heard the concerns of several affected landowners and residents in the Chambers Corners area.
To address those concerns, Council has revised its request to the Planning Board and is now asking the Board to
investigate (study) whether properties in the vicinity should be included in a non-condemnation redevelopment area.
This means that any redevelopment that may occur as a result of the requested study will not involve the use of eminent domain or condemnation.
The Planning Board’s study will continue, and as previously, it will be done without spending any taxpayer dollars.
The next scheduled event is the Planning Board meeting on May 15th at the Municipal Building. (THE MAY 15TH MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION)
Documents related to the study can be found under the document tab at the top of the page.
