TAX News = GOOD News:  No increase this year

 

2020/21 Tax rate (2.983) vs. 2019/20 tax rate (2.981) = Average tax rate of 2.98

 

This is the 3rd consecutive year with the same overall tax rate of 2.98

For various reasons, Covid-19 included, estimated bills were used for the August 1 payments (2020 3rd quarter). 

Because these estimates were high, the 4th quarter billing will be lower than last year’s 4th quarter to compensate.

Final billings will come well in advance of the November 1 payment.
